Eugène Eechaut (1928–2019) is a Belgian artist of French origin, recognized for his sensitive and poetic universe, oscillating between free figuration, abstraction, and drawing. Born in Raismes in 1928 and active in Brussels, he developed a personal body of work characterized by delicate lines, the strength of his materials, and great freedom of expression. His career was notably supported by the Tamara Pfeiffer Gallery in Brussels, which exhibited him alongside major 20th-century artists.
