Virebent porcelain ball vase, decorated with an elegant misty landscape in shades of grey.
Its generously rounded body is topped by a short, flared neck. The panoramic decor combines dark reliefs, cloud effects and several birds in flight, in a sober and atmospheric composition. The glossy enamel highlights the transitions between pearl grey, anthracite and and black.
The base bears the mark "PORCELAINE VIREBENT MADE IN FRANCE", which identifies this French production. Its streamlined shape and stylised decor are in keeping with the modernist aesthetic of the second half of the 20th century.
