Scheurich 495-20 W. Germany vintage 70s vase – ceramic

Superb vintage ceramic pitcher vase from the German manufacturer Scheurich, model 495-20, produced in West Germany in the 1960s-1970s.

Its generous, rounded shape is enhanced by an elegant handle and a flared neck. The piece stands out most for its beautiful mottled and nuanced enameling, gradually shifting from cream and beige in its upper part to deep brown tones towards the base.

A beautiful piece of West German Pottery, characteristic of Mid-Century European design, as decorative on its own as it is when used as a vase with fresh or dried flowers.
