Scheurich Vase 517-30 – West Germany – Vintage, 70s

Large vintage ceramic vase from the German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik, model 517-30, produced in West Germany in the 1970s.

This imposing piece, 30 cm high, features a characteristic cylindrical silhouette, topped with a straight neck and a wide raised rim. Its decoration plays on an elegant palette of browns, ochre, and beige, alternating wide horizontal bands and textured effects.

The glossy glaze reveals different textures, including light areas with a granitic and cracked appearance that contrast with the deep amber brown hues. The variations obtained during firing make each piece unique and give the vase a particularly warm and mineral look.

The underside bears the molded marking "517-30 W.GERMANY", corresponding to the model reference and its nominal height of 30 cm.

Very good overall vintage condition. Some slight irregularities in the glaze and firing are visible, characteristic of this type of ceramic and its manufacturing.
