Louis XVI style table lamp with gilt metal putto and onyx effect base – 48 cm

Elegant decorative table lamp in a neoclassical spirit inspired by the Louis XVI style, featuring a putto (cherub) supporting the shaft.

The cast metal figure has a beautiful golden patina, with very decorative drapery and volume work. It rests on an onyx-imitation resin base, with veined celadon green hues, adding depth and contrast to the whole.

The manufacturing techniques (cast metal and stone-effect resin base) suggest this lamp was made around the mid-20th century, in the tradition of decorative objects inspired by classical styles.

The set is completed by a simple and elegant lampshade, perfectly suited to the lamp's style.
