Pair of Asian-inspired lacquered box lamps, polychrome decoration and brass – 63 cm

Elegant pair of table lamps with an aesthetic inspired by the decorative arts of the Far East, resting on lacquered box-shaped bases.

Each piece features an opening hexagonal structure, evoking traditional Asian cabinets, richly adorned with floral and animal motifs with golden accents on a deep red background. The interior reveals an illustrated Asian-inspired decor, adding an extra dimension to the object.

Mounted on a brass rod with a soft patina, these lamps are complemented by elegant lampshades that diffuse a warm light.

Estimated production in the second half of the 20th century, these lamps are inspired by traditional Asian boxes, in a decorative spirit typical of the 1960s–1980s.
