Signed G. Méténier Ceramic Art Vase, France, circa 1960–1970

Superb handmade ceramic vase attributed to the French ceramist Gilbert Méténier, recognizable by his incised signature under the base.

Its bulging form with double handles gives it a sculptural presence, while its nuanced glazing reveals remarkable drip work in olive green, celadon, and deep blue tones. Each piece being unique, the variations in shades and material testify to true workshop expertise.
